Exclusive Interview with PPC GuruAn Adwords specialist inside out: revealing all his secrets, almost. For business purposes our pay per click guru asked for us to keep his identity confidential. Question: What is your job?I work with Adwords. What I mainly market is Google Adwords management. I take a person's web site, analyze it, determine keywords based on it and place ads to help the target group find my client´s web site in an easier manner. Question: Is there a difference in marketing a huge company´s site as oppose to a small one?The main difference is the budget they have to invest in their Pay per Click campaign. However, I like to treat everyone the same. They´re all hard working business people who are searching for better positioning on the net, and I love to take every case and make it my very own personal campaign. Question: Does Pay per Click really work, or is it only a way of helping Google get richer?Pay per Click works, otherwise I wouldn´t have a job. It takes careful planning and expert minds, but it is quite the tool to make your business more profitable. Of course Google makes money on this, and they should, they´re just a business like any other. Question: Do you advise people to try doing their own Adwords for their web sites?People usually come to me after they´ve already tried it. They´ve established that it is profitable, but they also realized they don´t have the time or expertise to manage an Adwords campaign. |
